God will make a way for us to overcome what we are dealing with. God gave Abraham a ram in the bush because of his faith. God gave the woman with the issue of blood complete healing because she pressed her way and believed she could be healed. God will make a way. Sometimes it requires some effort on our part. God’s word tells us that faith without works is dead. We have to do something but God handles the rest.

The woman with just a little oil was able to fill multiple empty vessels until all of them has been used. Sometimes God needs you on empty. This is when He does His best work. God will use what we have left. God does not need perfection to work in our lives. He needs our obedience and willingness to do our part in the circumstance we need Him to work in. The woman with just a little oil gave her all and poured and poured. God took her little and multiplied it because of her obedience.

God does not need you to have it all together. He does not need you to have all the answers. He needs you to trust that He does have all the answers. Sometimes He needs us to surrender our situation to Him and let Him work it out. When the woman poured into the first vessel I am sure she thought how will I fill it up? Despite what she felt; she kept pouring.

There are times when we wonder will God’s plan work? The word illustrates that she poured until all the vessels she gathered were full. God took her little and multiplied it beyond what she was capable of on her own. You can do all things through God.

1 Kings 17:12-16

“So she said, “As the Lord your God lives, I do not have bread, only a handful of flour in a bin, and a little oil in a jar, and see, I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it, and die.”

And Elijah said to her, “Do not fear; go and do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me, and afterward make some for yourself and your son. For thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the Lord sends rain on the earth.’ ”

So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah, and she and he and her household ate for many days. The bin of flour was not used up, nor did the jar of oil run dry, according to the word of the Lord which He spoke by Elijah.”

God will always make a way for us to overcome our struggles. He just wants us to trust Him and allow Him to work in our lives. Trusting God is hard but just like the woman with a little meal and a little oil God worked with her little and multiplied it. He didn’t need her to have a full kitchen of food. He did what she couldn’t do and all she had to do was be obedient and trust God.

God always makes a way.
