Never Give Up

No matter how hard the road gets or what troubles come never give up. You can make it with God on your side. God is sovereign and He knows that we will face hardships but He still has a plan for our lives.

This life comes with mountains and valleys. God knew we needed a way out so He sent Jesus to redeem us. He redeemed us and we must know that we do not have to be in bondage to anyone or anything. There are times when things get hard and we may feel like giving up. In those times there is no need to give up because trouble doesn’t last always. Some hardships come to prepare us for where God is moving us.

You can overcome anything with God. You can fight all life’s battles through a relationship with God. You can move out of any hardship or trial. In God’s word, we see Joseph go through many trials before God rose him out of the struggles into a position to be a blessing to those that caused him pain.

“Now when they saw him afar off, even before he came near them, they conspired against him to kill him. Then they said to one another, Look, this dreamer is coming! Come, therefore, let us now kill him and cast him into some pit; and we shall say, Some wild beast has devoured him. We shall see what will become of his dreams” (Genesis 37:18-20).

Joseph’s brothers worked against him out of jealousy. Because of this, Joseph faced many hardships. Joseph did not allow this to stop him from the vision God gave him. He never gave up on having a vision despite the circumstances he faced.

There are a few things we can learn from Joseph. We can learn not to give up and we can also learn forgiveness. Joseph loved those who hurt him despite the situations he faced because of them.

Life is hard and challenging. Some of the things we go through if we are honest we bring them on ourselves. Other times we may be like Joseph and a victim of someone else’s plot or scheme. No matter what the reason is you can overcome anything you face. Never give up and forgive so you do not hold on to the past and become bitter about life.
