It means so much more in our lives when the battles we fight give our life purpose. We overcome by pursuing greater than ourselves. It is important to overcome with Gods purpose in mind.

Life is worth living inspite of the things we go through. God takes us through things to cut away and prune the dead areas of our lives.

John 15:1-2 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away, prunes, that it may bear more fruit.”

God intended for us to bear fruit. We are to be the light God called us to be. Sometimes His chastisement is to bring forth new fruit in our lives. Sometimes it strengthens our witnessing to others to help them grow.

When we overcome the challenges in our lives, we are doing it for God’s glory. God knew us from the beginning. He will continue to work on us to see change. Don’t close the door to purpose because all that we go through has a purpose. God is in control.
