God wants to use what you have left. He took what you thought you had to have, to cut back, what was dead. It may have been dead relationships, job, place, or things. Sometimes we pray for change. We may not realize in order for God to do it He has to cut away.
Genesis 12:1-2 “Now the Lord said to Abram, Get out of your country. From your family And from your father’s house. To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation, I will bless you, I will make your name great.
Sometimes God needs you to leave what is familiar. People question whether they’ve truly heard from God when they feel it’s time to move on. It could be a job, relationship, or moving away. God still speaks. You may need confirmation or to lean on your faith and trust God. Abram was obedient to God. He trusted God’s insight.
We should trust that even when we don’t fully understand God does. Abram was leaving everything he knew to follow God. It’s the same today. That’s the truth of letting go and letting God work on us. Is it hard? Yes. None of us should just want to exist or remain the same. We should be striving to follow God and be better with each passing day. We will never be perfect but we can live a godly life.
Love love love this. This spoke to me on so many levels
