African American women in the United States struggle against the odds of oppression. I do it while battling mental health challenges in the United States and it’s hard. I want to encourage you to do it while keeping God first.
No matter how hard the road has been you can make it. God is the source of your strength. Sometimes seasons lasts longer than others but you can make a decision to strive for better.
You can have the things you desire if you don’t give up on obtaining them. It will not be easy but keep going.
Let God be the center of your strength and keep pressing your way. All women have a journey and a story. As we go through our journey our story unravels before many. I encourage all women not to run from the journey and enjoy it.
God carries us day to day. He is the source of our peace when we need it most. You can’t have your life without Him. James 4:14-15 “whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears a little while and vanishes away. If the Lord wills we shall live and do this or that.”
God is in control of all that we do. No matter what goes on in our lives we should always put God first. When we put God first “we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us”. (Philippians 4:13)
