Thanksgiving Blessings

Another year has come and is on the dawn of being gone. This year may have been rough for some. Sometimes, years are harder on us than others. It can feel like a waste looking forward to another year. It’s a part of life, though we might not understand why.

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on all God has covered us and brought us through. Some people are no longer with us, but we made it through. Through the grief and pain we kept pressing on. I wish I could answer why, but I can’t.

Spend time with family because you never know when it will be the last time. Be thankful for being alive. The only person we can change is ourselves. Allow people the grace to be who they are. Be thankful you have people around you that care.

May we be thankful for the little things. God is a redeemer. He will restore all that you may have lost. It can be hard to have a grateful heart. Reflecting on the things that are working in our lives is a great place to start.

As we prepare spend time with family may we thank God and enjoy the company of those we love.

Happy Thanksgiving
