“He is not here but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again” (Luke 24:6-7).
“He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay” (Matthew 28:6).
Jesus is the Risen Savior. He is our living and breathing ultimate sacrifice. Some people worship and pray to carved images. Christians do not have to do that. Our Holy Trinity is alive. Jesus’s death was a symbol that has changed everything. When Jesus rose He rose with all power and took the sting out of death. He did this so we could also not be bound to death, but because we believe that Jesus died for us, we will live eternally. Earth is not our final resting place, but we die to live again just like Jesus did.
When we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection today, we celebrate and honor the reason everyone has the opportunity to be redeemed. His resurrection is the reason why we are no longer bound to the things that we suffer in this life. We are commissioned to make a difference in the lives of others by spreading the gospel and bringing them to Christ (Mark 16:15-16). We strive to follow Christ’s example of living by God’s principles and compassion for mankind.
Jesus the Risen Savior lives and sits at the right hand of the throne as our High Priest. All believers are the royal priesthood. Our Redeemer lives.
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned (Mark 16:15-16).
Happy Resurrection Sunday! 💜🙏🏾⛪️
