I don’t know about you, but the last few years have been rough for all of us. We owe God our thanks and gratitude. God brought me through many struggles, and I truly thank Him.
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
We often forget how much God sustains us. It is easy to do when you are in the rough patches of life. God always makes a way and for that, we owe Him our praise. I could never get through the troubles and hardships I face without Him.
Jesus died for you and for me. God sent Him to stand in for us. Jesus did something no one else could ever do. He endured pain and suffering. We endure and may ask why? All I know is without the challenges how would we grow? How would be a light if everything was a bed of roses? Going through the fire refines us for the better. We are destined to come out as refined gold. But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold (Job 23:10).
We are not our circumstances though often it feels like we are. We often bask in them and let them define our destiny and purpose. God never intended for our circumstances to define everything we do. They are the passage that gets us to our purpose if we don’t get stuck. Sometimes we need to look back and thank God for how far we have come. “Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God” (Ephesians 5:20).
May you remember all God has brought you through. Be encouraged that God will prevail.

I wish all my readers a blessed and Happy Thanksgiving!
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).
