God is Making Your Life His Masterpiece

“being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6)

“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men”(Colossians 3:23).

“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus”(Philippians 4:19).

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God” (Romans 12:2).

God is the one who gives us the power to accomplish the dreams He puts inside of us. So many women and men stop dreaming. They stop dreaming because they see their dreams as impossible. Throughout our lives, we begin to try and reach our dreams and life starts to get challenging.

When life gets challenging fear sets in and we start to believe the masterpiece God placed in us may not happen. I have been there too many times. I still have to pray, seek godly counsel, attend therapy to keep myself grounded. Dreaming and believing in what seems impossible is hard and scary.

It is easy to give up and tell yourself that what God promised you is impossible and will never happen. It is time to make a change in your thinking to achieve what you have believed to be impossible. God’s word tells us that “But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). We can’t reach our goals and dreams in our own strength. We need to allow God to guide us.

How do we allow God to guide us? It takes spending time with Him and beginning to trust the promises and dreams he put down on the inside of us. Is this easy? No, it takes work and anything we want God to accomplish through us is not easy and takes time.

Moses was on the backside of a mountain for forty years before he led the Israelites out of Egypt. Joseph would spend about fifteen years facing struggles before he rose the position God called him to after he was betrayed by his jealous brothers. The woman with the issue of blood went twelve years without being delivered but her faith set free in a matter of moments. No matter what is getting in the way God will finish what He started.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).

You may not see what God is going to do in your life but trust Him. You may feel like it will never happen, but trust God and the process. He wants your gifts and talents to change the lives of others for the better. Your dreams and talents are meant to bring people closer to God and give them hope.

God is making your life His masterpiece.
