The Strength of a Black Woman

Surviving an oppressive system

Standing beside men broken by an oppressive system

Loving children that may not come back home after simply walking the streets

Trying to love the bodies we are told to hate

Trying to find love in men broken by a system that fails them

Crying because the world seems too heavy to bear

Trying to stay afloat in a workforce that still wants us to remain silent and docile

No, it’s not just the black woman who struggles, but the struggle is different, and the impact can be insurmountable

The Strength of a Black Woman 🖤🤎
