When it won’t Stop Raining

,

There was a shell of her from all the rain

She grew to expect rain more than sunshine

The rain came so often with only peaks of sunshine

The people around her carried in so much rain she set an umbrella across her life.

When sunshine came she was unimpressed and waited for rain

The men she came to know loved her in a raincoat

One day a man dropped by when it was raining

The man told her if she stopped preparing for rain she would get more sunshine and the happiness she desired.

You get what you prepare for.

“As a man thinks in his heart so is he” (Proverbs 23:7).
