You Can Make It

There are so many biblical stories of struggle in God’s word. Though the stories show how struggle is a part of life, God always prevailed on the character’s behalf. In this world there will be struggle, but you can overcome struggle with God and faith.

Let’s take a look at the woman with the issue of blood. “Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, and suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well (Mark 5:25-28).

Having a chronic condition with no cure is hard for many people. I can surely understand how this woman must have felt. It was her faith that healed what no physician could. I also see the courage the woman had to press her way to Jesus while still sick.

It is not always a health condition that lasts longer than we ever expected it and yet we have no resolution for our pain and agony. Sometimes its poverty that makes our sorrows heavy. Sometimes its grief about what or who we lost.

Whatever it is you can make it. You can overcome your issue. Some things take years and endurance before they pass. The woman with the issue of blood could have given up and accepted whatever the doctors had told her.

No matter how hard the road has been, never give up. Press your way to freedom from whatever you feel is holding you back. You might not have to push through a crowd, but you might have to push through some rejection, being misunderstood, or some closed doors. No matter what it is push your way through. No matter what press your way and remember you can make it.
