Loving through the Pain

One of the hardest things to do is still love when you need healing and are still hurting from the troubles of your past. What does God say about loving through the pain?

And walk in love, as Christ has also loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. (Ephesians 5:2).

Walking in love is significant to all that we are. Love is something we all need. Many of us have experienced the hurdles of looking for love in all the wrong places. Many of us have been hurt trying to love family and a few we once called friend.

God gives unconditional love to whoever needs to feel His love. God sees no bounds with His love. In our imperfections it’s hard to show unconditional impartial love. Jesus died to show us and gives us love. He saw it not ransom to die so we could come to know compassion. (“Forgive them Father for they know not what they do” Luke 23:24) We need to understand this when we have been wronged by those who claimed to love us.

Over the years and many tears the only one that loves in the dark places is God. He touches the places where true healing can take place. His redemptive love outweighs all the bad.

When love is scarce His love covers. As we continue to try and find comfort in all that is happening locally and globally, remember we have a Savior and Advocate for restoration, peace and love in this world.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16).
