Waiting

How do you wait on God? Do you murmur and complain like the Israelites or do you trust Him eventhough you see no evidence of change?

In life everything we desire and want will not be like putting a bag of popcorn in the microwave. Sometimes the things we desire take months and sometimes years before they manifest. Sometimes its just not your season and other times God is waiting on you to change.

You wouldn’t give a bicycle without training wheels to a young child who never road a bike. God is the same way with us. He is our Father and He knows when we are not prepared so He makes us wait. He knows and sees our lives to the end. He knows us like gardener understands plants. He understands when to cut us back and trim us for the fruit to produce in our lives.

Waiting is not a punishment it is an opportunity to become closer to God. Waiting for the things we prayed about produces patience.

God knows all about us. Sometimes we think we are more ready than we are. God wants to ensure He is glorified when the waiting is over.

Whatever you are in need of, God will provide. “And my God shall apply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus ” (Philippians 4:19).

Believe that He won’t be late. Trust Him as you wait.
