Suffering is a part of Life

(Luke 22:42) Jesus was getting ready to be crucified “Father if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me, nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done”.

When we are facing trying times we may go to God like Jesus looking for comfort amidst the fear of what we are facing. Like Jesus there may be no real answer or comfort right then.

Luke 22:43 “Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven strengthening Him.” God always comforts when we hurt but He does it in His timing and He does it His way. Suffering is a part of bringing out maturity in us. It is up to us to do it God’s way. My life has not been an easy road. I can testify that I’ve done things doctors said I couldn’t do. The road has had many winding curves but I’ve been buckled in tight and road through every curve and made it to each destination.

So when you think you can’t make it, like Jesus, seek God because He will answer.

He blesses us in the midst of all the suffering we go through. Jesus had all power but He had to become lesser to be greater. Today He is the High Priest at the right hand of God ruling and reigning in heaven.

We all have a purpose God is willing in each of us. Answer the call. Many people spend a lifetime and die without doing what God called them to do. Jesus understood God’s will and way was better. We must understand that too.
